My first reaction was to jump on the chance—but of course you are right, it's not as if xylitol is something you can't do yourself, and this way you know she is getting it.

We have not heard of any light therapy. Children's doesn't really have a solution for the mouth sores, I think. They are doing a trial with Xylitol which we declined, because it is double blind, so possibly we wouldn't be using xylitol at all, and it also isn't that much xylitol, so if we are outside the trial we can do more xylitol on our own. It is hard to tell how much it is working, since we don't know if it would be worse if we weren't doing it, but so far, they aren't too bad.

Thank you again for these updates. Eric's Mom and her sister did the same thing a week ahead of Grace and Faith. Norma is starting in on the mouth sores. Are they doing that light therapy thing for Grace with the weird space glasses? Norma has that every day I think.

Love to you all. Jen
