Seems to me the core business of ice cream is ice cream, and not some goop, but I understand I might be an outlier here.

Interesting! Maybe being in Vermont you were a test market of some sort, and they only recently expanded. I'm afraid I'm not very much B&J-literate, since I don't pay that much for a full half gallon of ice cream. But every once in a while I indulge (usually when there's a terrific sale), and if I can't get Mövenpick, it's a Ben & Jerry moment. I could go for any one of these right now....

I'm confused by this whole thing... B&J's had core pints back when I was in college. Is this announcement so big because of four new flavors, or the combination of flavors or perhaps just the jam? Because I totally bought core pints in Vermont over 10 years ago.
